Liberty Hill

Nestled in the natural beauty of the rolling hills between the North and South forks of the San Gabriel River, Liberty Hill is now one of the fastest growing communities in the Austin metro area.  It has a perfect combination of small-town Texas atmosphere with a vibrant community feel, in close proximity to a wide variety of activities and interests. It is located 15 miles west of Georgetown and 33 miles northwest of Austin.

Liberty Hill began as a small town with a few settlers back in the 1840’s.  It has over 175 years of rich history of farming and ranching in Williamson County.  Today, Liberty Hill is growing with new neighborhoods being built around downtown and the outlying areas.  The new neighborhoods and businesses are bringing exciting opportunities to the community, while maintaining the feeling and experiences of the “simpler” rural life.

Liberty Hill Independent School District has highly rated schools supported by strong community involvement and pride.  Residents are close to a variety of businesses, retail, dining, and entertainment.  It is the home to local vineyards and craft breweries where you can try some local wine and beer tastings.
